Give a word about your mentor

Wednesday, 30 April 2003 10:27 A GMT-06

Ballerina Mary Jane!

Saturday, 26 April 2003 1:42 P GMT-06
Well the first pair of Ballerina Slippers that somehow became Mary Janes are just too big for younger. Although she is determined to "grow" into them, I explained to her that Mommy can make her another pair. So I started the new pair today while visi

So I went and cut my felted tote!! Horrors! Scissors next to that lovely fabric! Tweren't so bad. Just a little fuzz came off. Now the sewing machine didn't really want to sew through 2 thicknesses of the felted fabric. It had to be persuaded! But he

Knitting has ended on the tote and it is now felting! Fingers crossed that it will felt up to the right size. I have no idea what the right size is, I just want it to be transportable. I still don't have any strap ideas, who knows what I will end up

Thursday, 24 April 2003 4:42 P GMT-06
OK, just yesterday I blogged about my April Goals. Now, did any of you see the Ballerina Slippers listed as an April Goal? You are correct, they were not intended to be an April Goal. I remember listing them as a May Goal. So what in the world w

Monday, 21 April 2003 7:52 A GMT-06
Well I guess I got nothing since I didn't get one. But I plan to raid the DD's baskets of any unwanted treats! We ended up having the big Easter Egg hunt in the house at my Aunt's due to the severe weather system that blew through. We hid half the eg

Calling Dr Freud

Friday, 18 April 2003 2:32 P GMT-06
OK, analyze this! My dream last night was unreal. It went like this: I am in a department store trying on fancy evening gowns and shoes. My mom is also doing the same. She finds her choices and I find 2 gowns and 1 pair of shoes. For some reason I le

Mail call!!!

Friday, 18 April 2003 2:09 P GMT-06
I almost didn't see it. If it wasn't for the chance looking out the front door for the bus I would have missed it. The Mailman didn't even knock, And of course they never ring twice. Or is that the Iceman? Anywho! Once I got it inside I noticed the K

Can you say Pandemonium?

Thursday, 17 April 2003 9:11 P GMT-06
I can and I can give you a little slice of it. It's 21 Brownies(plus 3 or 4 extra siblings) all stuffed into a Build a Bear Workshop at once trying to pick an animal, get it stuffed, and choose clothes for it. And who knows how many "regula

Good morning

Friday, 11 April 2003 8:54 A GMT-06
Just a note to wish you a happy day and a great weekend. I feared my DH would have to work and I would have to take sports shuttle duty tomorrow. That would have been very bad as I had planned to spend the day with my knit buds at Fleece Fair .

Thursday, 10 April 2003 9:48 P GMT-06
Well I had to attend a Kindergarten Round-up for the younger this evening, after I ran the elder to Brownie meeting. So I took my felted tote bag to work on. Thinking I wouldn't be there that long I just grabbed the bag with the current color skein.
