It's here!

We leave for Florida, FINALLY! Our annual trip was delayed three weeks to coincide with our friends from Dayton's trip. Their son is playing football and summer conditioning was interfering with their normal timeline. So, good friends that we are, we changed our dates to ensure we would be there at the same time. OK, real reason, they have two kids, we have two kids. Nuff said. Bonus this year is, our other friends, who we spent Spring Break with in Daytona, are going to be about a block away from us. So, we will have two more friends to play with.

So, count down is T-2 until I take the dog to be boarded. I am not handling this well at all! This will be the first time we are separated from him. And it's for two weeks! Hubster will be home, but he works too late to be of any use to the dog. So Crazy Dog Lady is keeping him 3 days and then our friend, TV, is picking him up when she gets her dog out of the slammer. So he will stay with Misty, Siberian, for 2 weeks. He will be in doggie heaven! 1 dog and three kids to play with. We may have to get another dog so he won't be sad when we come back for him. But I am not getting another kid!

Is it too weird that I plan on doing videos of us in Florida to upload to Youtube for TV to play for him? Or that I plan to phone them to let them put the phone up to his ear? Am I that crazy?

Here is the last picture that I will have to look at while gone. Such a sad face. It's like he knows something is up.

And, as promised ages ago, or just last week, here is Elder in her new handmade top. I still have to catch Younger in hers. I love the combo of the fabrics we chose. What a cheesy grin! I need to get that pattern in my size and make a few tops.

So, I am off. Hope life treats you well while I am gone. And I hope life treats me really well while I am gone. I hope the sun shines all day, the weather isn't too hot (yeah right, it's FLORIDA IN JULY!), I hope the condo police are not in residence (yes, we have old people who roam the halls looking for people who are breaking the rules!), I hope the food is delicious, I hope the kids all behave. Well, 4 out of 5 is doable!
