Playing catch up here. The one item I kept forgetting to show you is our camper. I know, you have been waiting with bated breath! I went outside to take a picture of my sky for Sandy, this is looking southwest out my back door,

and snapped one of the camper while out there. The bedroom is at the front where the higher window is, the living/kitchen area is in the middle with the window right next to the dinette, and the bathroom is at the back, no window. This is my kind of camping. Hubster ordered some spring leaf shocks to replace the broken one and all the rest of them. We haven't been able to use it since our last excursion due to the broken one. Hopefully we can get some more camping in before it turns too cold. Not a chance of that happening anytime soon. 90 degrees by 3:00pm today! Which sounds like a good day to take the girls swimming at the parental unit's house. Maybe even get in myself.
Knitting today will be spent on more mittens. Are you sick of them yet? And I haven't even had a chance to get to the Folk Mittens I want to make. I hope I don't burn out before that. But the mittens I test knit for my pattern will be put to a good cause. One pair down
2 to go. The dark pair will be fingerless mitts for Elder, cause I don't have enough for full mittens, and she doesn't want full mittens. The green pair will have some Fair Isle done and will be a charity item. I think I might even full the green pair to see what it looks like. Just slightly, not too much. Thankfully I have 3 test knitters who are helping out. I am through 4 options out of 16. They are doing 3 of the remaining, I am working on 2 more size/gauge options, for a total of 4 + 3 + 2 = 9, only 7 more options to test. I am slowly double checking my numbers, when I find time. Things look good so far. Now it's proof reading and waiting for feedback from my test knitters.
Now to get something done before I head in to work. Need to find some gauges that match the mittens pattern so I can get those other sizes tested. I have enough worsted on hand to finish out the sizes, but need some 6/7sts/1" yarns to use for the rest. I am sure I can find more than enough at the shop. I probably need to stop shopping at the shop! I am not using up my stash very quickly. But then again, when have I ever?
Have a glorious day, as you can see from my photo above, it's going to be beautiful!
