Blogging has just been so low on the totem pole. Most of the time is spent keeping the house picked up, laundry done and dishes done. Leaves little time for other things. Online time has been taken up with Ravelry and Text Twist. Truly addicting game!
All the prep for the house is done, just a little clean out of the garage to do. And by Saturday the sign will be in the yard!!! Let's hope it sells quick. A house a few doors down sold fairly quick, but I need to research what they selling price was. It isn't as big as ours, so was listed for less. This is the scary part. Being sure to get top dollar for the house. We aren't forced to sell due to having another house to pay for or being under an ARM. If we don't get our price, or close, we will stay put until the market comes back. Sure, it will mean delaying our dream home, but we are adult enough to have no problem doing that.
Tonight is copycat recipe time. I am making Outback's Queensland Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. I didn't have poultry seasoning so I substituted McCormick's Seasoning. And instead of white wine I will be using a Zinfadel. So, is it still a copycat?
OK, I am back to the blog reading, too many had piled up!
Wacky weather story: It was supposed to storm from Tuesday to Thursday. It didn't rain until late Thursday night. It's supposed to snow on Sunday!!! This is Southern Indiana in mid April. Remind me again how we are in a tragic spiral because of Global Warming? BS, pure and simple. Oh wait, now we have to call it Climate Change because it actually isn't warming, it's cooling.
Thought of the day: How much more yarn do I need? We'll find out after my trip up to Greencastle tomorrow!!
