The dress is done......
let the pockets begin. But first I need to figure out how I am going to do them. I have some yellow I planned to use for the flowers. But the only other colors I have in Cotton Fleece are the red and green, used in the project, and light blue. So I need to determine if the blue would look weird as the pocket color. If not I would use red for the pocket and then it would just blend in with the dress. But I think I have enough red leftover to make an apple hat! The colors of this dress just scream apple to me. So I thought why not just make a matching hat! I will cast on for it today and see how much yarn it uses up. If it uses too much I will just leave the pockets off and embellish it with apple buttons.

Today is plan free until this evening. Then all four of us will be in different places for the night. Elder has a pizza party, Hubster is supposed to be playing golf and having a dinner, who knows if the weather allowed that. I have a teaching gig. So Younger gets to go to her friend's house. Of course this friend was over Sunday, they were at her house Monday, the friend and little sister were here last night and now tonight Younger is back at their house. Do I see visions of my summer here? At least they are playing and I am usually knitting!
Time to get everyone up and at them so I can make a 9:00 am pick-up downtown.
Hope everyone is storm free today and that the water levels are not rising too fast. I don't think my yard can take another drop!
