To get a comment? Hmm? A darling toddler sweater doesn't do it. A stunning dog sweater doesn't do it. OK, so maybe Encore yarn in a dog sweater does not equal stunning. Even a modeled shot of it garnered little. So, what will it take to get you guys talking?
I'm afraid all I have is another dog sweater, this time with Cascade 220 Superwash yarn and a video of dogs at play. Sweater first. This is the same pattern as the previous sweater. Modifications: Worsted yarn in place of DK. Same cast on numbers. Shorter ribbing at collar. Completely different decreases for the back and tummy section. These are pre-wash shots, so hopefully the stranding will ease as it usually does when washed.
So, any comments here? We had a try on session while I was knitting the back end, just to make sure it wasn't too long or short. I haven't had a try on since I finished. Will definitely be getting a photo of dog in sweater as soon as I can. Just glad I got it done for Santa photos on Saturday. Now to wash and dry it in time for that. Hopefully I won't have to wash the dog again before then. After dog play last night he needed a good cleaning! Slobber was transfered while the larger dogs were amongst the smaller ones. I will brush him today, since he fell asleep with big sis right after his bath.
OK, how about a video of last night's dog play? He had so much fun! But poor Bailey, Lisa's little one, she was stalked by a gorgeous Bull Mastiff. Only 9 months old and HUGE! At least iNDy held his own now and then. The smaller Bull Mastiff, seen to the right in the video, is only 7 months and big enough. iNDy wasn't too sure about her, but she wanted to play with him! You can see the larger of the two in this photo.
OK, I need to get going. Helping out at Enjoy It today. Joy has some weekend catering to get out. I get to learn something from a pro! Not sure what she is making, but I do know I will be taking home a scrumptious meal. Cheeseburger Meatloaf, potatoes and broccoli. Yummy! She has grab and go meals every Wed and Fri. I ordered mine as soon as I saw the menu. So, I will go in and work a few hours, then meet Lisa for our last Friday lunch with Barbara at the shop. Gracie's is one of our favs! Tomorrow is Barbara's last day so we are celebrating/mourning. Now starts her drive to find a house in PA and get everything ready to move. Wish we could throw a spanner into those works!
I wish for you a spectacular weekend. Ours is full as usual. Three things on Sat., but thankfully only 2 overlap!
