I've a deal on one for you! I'll pay you to take it. I am sure you will love it, it goes with everything. I am ready for it to be gone. My knitting has taken a serious turn for the none. Not since Sunday morning have I taken a stitch. I have to get back on track. I just finished the gifts I am giving to my knitting buds, no knitting was done though.
Now to get back on track with the knitting. 1 hat to finish, 1 hat to make and 1 pair of mittens. And it all needs to be done by Monday night. That is when Christmas Eve is, right? And I really would like to get some knitting done for me! Not sure what, but I must find something to thrill me. I could go back to Suzie's Lady Eleanor, and I will try to get it done by New Year's, but it all depends on the nerve. Right now, it don't look good.
But the presents are bought, they are wrapped, and only one left to knit and put in with the present for the MIL. Oh, and stocking stuffers to buy. I always forget those! But basically, I am done. Feels good, and it never happens this far before Christmas. I am usually finishing up the day before Christmas Eve!
Well, since there is no knitting to share I will give you a recipe for my favorite mix:
Holiday Nuts
1 package Cocktail Peanuts 12 oz
1 package Honey Roasted Peanuts 12 oz
1 package Sweet N' Crunchy Peanuts (Toffee Covered) 12 oz
1 package M & M's in Holiday Red and Green (large bag size)
Mix all together and package in decorative boxes.
If I can't find Sweet N' Crunchy I just leave them out, but they are my favorites.
Ended up missing a Christmas dinner tonight due to Younger's bout of stomach virus. She had so much to do tomorrow and now she will miss all of it. Poor thing. She hates to be sick, and I hate to see her be sick. So the two of us are sitting here ailing while Hubster and Elder (taking my place) are enjoying Red Lobster! It's a family company dinner, and she's family. Hopefully Hubster can bring me something to eat so I can take my meds later.
Hope all is right with your world. I know it will be in mine soon.
Blessings: Being done with the shopping and wrapping. It's time to have fun!
