That's where I need to be right now. Man, I am too old for late nights. But I had so much fun!! Just wish I could have been there tonight too. But my weekend is still full. We were all there by 5:30, when they opened the lobby drink fest. So off we went for our cocktails and snacks. And laughs galore! We really didn't have that much to drink, but you couldn't tell it. Then we repaired to the room and had bingo! And I forgot to take any photos of it!!! I knew I would. I do think there was some photo taking of me on top of a chair though.
I knit on the As You Like It wrap and got covered in mohair! On black pants. But I wasn't going anywhere. We did call Hubster and had him pick up D's Harry Potter book, since he was already there! Elder and Younger met up with their cousins, so they all had a good time. Except Hubster. Poor guy was tired after an early morning and an all day golf game. Seems I woke him when I called to tell him to pick up D's copy. Asleep at Border's in the middle of Harry Hysteria? Yes, that would be my Hubster.
The few photos I did get are here:

J's Swallow Tail Shawl from Elsbeth Lavold Silky Wool.
Stunning!
A few kooks! Camera battery died and I missed the other 4!
And I am sure they are still having fun tonight! But I am done for. I just want my bed and a good night's sleep. I can barely type for my weariness. Once I hit home I got freshened up and grabbed the girls to go to the Fair. Sat through the judging, which was less intense since we had less entries this year. We need to beef up the young crafters! Just need to reach out to the younger generation and get them away from video games and back to crafts! But I did see some good stuff, so I will take heart. Younger gets a blue ribbon, and that's not just because she's the judge's daughter. OK, all of them got a blue ribbon! One was a stunning needlepoint of a horse. It was well done and a great entry. It got the bid for state.
My belly is full, my eyes are drooping and I just want to go to sleep or soak in a warm tub! But I need to practice my song for tomorrow. Not that I don't already know it, come on it's Amazing Grace, but I had to get a different version of the music. So I am crash listening to the melody on iTunes while I type.
I hope your weekend is as full of fiber and friends as mine has been. Just wish we had made it to Crystal Lake!
Blessings: Our "out of town" knit together that was actually half a mile from my house!
